Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist for Marine and Construction to join our team at Siemens Healthineers. As a key member of our Corporate Insurable Risks team, you will be responsible for conducting systematic and efficient risk assessments and evaluations for insurable marine/transport and construction risks worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a worldwide risk financing strategy for Siemens Healthineers in the insurance lines of marine/transport and construction.
- Define the scope of coverage in these insurance lines, design risk-appropriate insurances, and negotiate additional cover.
- Provide internal advisory services to Siemens Healthineers in the insurance lines of marine/transport and construction, as well as loss and claims management.
- Coordinate with insurers and external service providers to ensure efficient premium allocation and invoicing across all corporate insurance lines.
Requirements
- Commercial insurance vocational training and a degree in engineering or business administration/economics (specializing in insurance or risk).
- Many years of professional experience with insurers, insurance brokers, or on the customer side in the marine/transport and construction insurance lines.
- Extensive experience in the structured assessment and evaluation of complex marine/transport and construction risks and the ability to create an efficient risk financing concept for these risks.
- Project management experience with a tight schedule and the ability to take on project responsibility.
