Localization Project Manager

Seeking an experienced Localization Project Manager to join our dynamic team at PeopleCert, a global leader in exam and certification management.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled individual with native fluency in German and English to manage translation projects from English into German. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple projects concurrently while meeting time and budget requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage translation projects within XTM TMS (Translation Management System), ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Oversee translation efforts for various content types, ensuring consistency and quality across all products.
  • Perform file alignments, update and maintain translation memories, and prepare files for translation to ensure efficient use of resources and content reusability.
  • Provide clear briefings to suppliers, ensuring they understand project scope, deliverables, and expectations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Native or equivalent fluency in German and English.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a Language Service Provider (LSP) environment or a translation function.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting time and budget requirements.
