Air Freight Export Specialist

At Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airfreight Export Operator to join our team in Nuremberg. As an Airfreight Export Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of air freight shipments, customs clearance, and creation of Air Waybills (AWBs).
Your Responsibilities:- Handle air freight shipments independently, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Clear customs efficiently, adhering to all regulations and requirements.
- Create Air Waybills (AWBs) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Establish and maintain trustful relationships with customers, international branches, partners, and agents.
- Handle damage claims and complaints independently, providing excellent customer service.
- Prepare quotations for customers, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing.
- Completed vocational training as a merchant for forwarding and logistics services (m/f/d).
- Further education in hazardous goods handling and training as an air security officer is desirable.
- Relevant professional experience in the field of air freight export.
- Excellent English language skills (both written and spoken).
- Proficiency in using customs programs, e.g., Dakosy.
- Flexibility, high commitment, and customer orientation.
- Organizational talent, negotiation skills, and teamwork.
- Desirable certifications: reliability check and air security training.
- Familiarity with TMS Cargowise is a plus.
- Experience with automotive customers is desirable.
