Underwriter US Delegated Authority

At HDI AG, we're looking for a skilled Underwriter to join our team. As an Underwriter, you'll play a crucial role in managing our renewal portfolio and supporting the onboarding of new business.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day contract management and administration of our renewal portfolio
  • Support with the onboarding of new business
  • Analyze monthly key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and developments within our portfolio
  • Conduct general market research
  • Assist in the completion of underwriting file reviews
  • Participate in marketing efforts via international travel and conference attendance in the USA

Your Profile:

  • Completed Bachelor's (or Master's degree) in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or similar areas
  • Knowledge of primary insurance, including agency business, preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Very good knowledge of German and English (preferably both C1)
  • Willingness to travel on business in the USA
