Optical Simulation Expert

• Develop and implement advanced optical simulations using high-performance computing and machine learning techniques
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance product development roadmaps and drive innovation
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and industry trends in optics and physics-based rendering
• Design and optimize simulations for speed and scalability, utilizing tools like CUDA and distributed computing
• Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• PhD in Physics, Optics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Proven expertise in physical optics and optical simulation, with a strong publication record
• Hands-on experience with toolkits like Fourier optics, pytorch, OpenGL, FEniCS, Pbrt, Comsol, Unreal Engine, Blender, Virtual Lab, Code V, Zemax, or similar
• Strong programming skills and experience with distributed computing and high-performance computing
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to drive innovation and think systemically
