About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps Engineer/Systems Engineer to join our team at Infront. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering and supporting mission-critical services within the fintech domain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the productive operation of fintech and infrastructure-related applications.
  • Provide technical 2nd and 3rd level support.
  • Plan and implement code deployment and rollouts.
  • Set up and troubleshoot financial market data exports.
  • Plan and implement systems automation using infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
  • Respond quickly to technical issues and incidents.
  • Plan and maintain patch management lifecycle.
  • Respond quickly to vulnerabilities' detection.
  • Apply best monitoring practices.
  • Develop and improve technical documentation.
  • Deploy Linux and Windows OS.
  • Containerize software deployment.
  • Implement DBA operations.

Requirements

  • Advanced Linux administration skills.
  • Pre-intermediate scripting language skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc.).
  • Intermediate IaC knowledge level (at least one of Puppet/Chef/Ansible tools).
  • Version control skills (GIT).
  • Experience in containerization (Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.).
  • OSI model and general networking data flow understanding.

Desirable Skills

  • Zabbix administration and implementation.
  • Prometheus administration and implementation.
  • Grafana dashboard setup.
  • Kibana experience.
  • Kubernetes basic concept understanding.
  • CCNA certification.
  • JVM administration.
  • Fintech experience will be considered as an advantage.
  • HA cluster setup experience (i.e. DRBD, GlusterFS, Corosync, ucarp, etc.).
  • Fluent German language.
  • Basic database administration skills (MySQL, Postgres, MSSQL, replication, backup, tuning).
  • Basic VMWARE management skills.
  • Monitoring tools management (i.e. Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana).
