Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Architect to join our team at Cargolux Airlines International SA. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing security architecture solutions that meet our organizational needs and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement security architecture solutions that align with our business objectives.
  • Ensure all security measures are up-to-date and effective against current threats.
  • Translate technology and environmental conditions into security designs and processes.

Risk Management

  • Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.
  • Implement risk management strategies to address identified vulnerabilities and threats.

Policy and Procedure Management

  • Develop, document, and enforce security policies and procedures.
  • Regularly review and update policies to adapt to evolving security landscapes.

Compliance Assurance

  • Ensure all security practices comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to verify compliance and address any deficiencies.

Incident Response and Management

  • Develop and maintain incident response plans.
  • Lead and coordinate response efforts during security incidents, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Technical diploma with focus in IT. A Master degree in computer science (or any other relevant field) would be an asset.
  • At least 7 years of experience in an IT Operations Center with focus on cybersecurity.
  • Strong skills in IT network technologies, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity.
  • Good knowledge of IT systems and network infrastructure.
  • Understanding of network architecture and services.
  • Experience with intrusion detection methodologies for detecting host and/or network-based intrusion incidents.
  • Experience with log review & live response.
  • Familiar with application monitoring concepts.
  • Willing to attend regular trainings and stay up-to-date with new technologies.
  • Fluent in English (spoken & written); any additional language will be considered a strong asset.
  • Good problem-solving skills, analytical approach, and research-oriented.
  • Passion for excellence.
  • Good interpersonal/communication skills and a customer-centered mindset.
  • Comfortable working in a multicultural fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions

  • Permanent, full-time contract based in our HQ in Luxembourg.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of a positive selection.
