About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our Digital Transformation team in Düsseldorf. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing data models, ETL pipelines, and architectures to support our operational business lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop data models, ETL pipelines, and architectures to meet business requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop data models solutions
  • Define and document data standards, policies, and governance processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency
  • Manage the entire data lifecycle, including data modeling, database design, data integration, data quality, and data security
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team to ensure data architectures and models are implemented correctly
  • Ensure compliance with Uniper's data governance framework
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Information Technology, Economics, Information Systems, Statistics, Applied Math, Business Administration, or related field
  • At least 10 years of experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT processes, and data architecture
  • Proven experience in building and developing ETL pipelines, dimensional data models, and data warehouse solutions
  • Strong skills in database design, data integration, data architecture, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling
  • Proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, Python, Azure Data Factory, and other relevant tools
