About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer (m/w/d) for Industrial Automation to join our team at iks Engineering GmbH.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement software solutions for industrial automation systems, including SPS, visualization, and bus systems.
  • Perform system testing, fault analysis, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality and reliable systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to resolve technical issues and provide expert advice.
  • Provide training and support to customers and internal teams on software solutions and system operation.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and updates of existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software development for industrial automation systems, preferably with Siemens S7, TIA-Portal, Bosch, or Rockwell.
  • Knowledge of visualization systems such as WinCC or WinCC flexible is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
