Your RoleAs a Master Data Application Owner at Symrise, you will be part of the Finance Center of Excellence and lead one of our Core Teams. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the entire Symrise scope, focusing on all types of master data. This includes:
- Developing and maintaining a master data governance model to ensure high-quality data management
- Coordinating the collection of business needs and project requirements, evaluating, and elaborating the overall project portfolio and master data deployment strategic roadmap
- Deploying master data management workflows to centralize master data maintenance in MDG
- Harmonizing critical dimensions of master data and supporting ERP-related changes
- Supporting business projects requiring master data expertise, such as M&A integration, business reorganization, and more
You will work closely with the ITA and divisional or segment MDOs to develop and implement master data strategies that meet the evolving needs of the business. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data across the organization.
About YouTo succeed in this role, you will need to possess:
- Extensive experience in master data management, with a deep understanding of the interrelation among master data content, governance, and processes
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to negotiate and interact at various levels within the organization
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to figure out business implications of proposed solutions and deal with complex issues
- Experience working with SAP ERP processes and supporting or running ERP end-to-end processes
- Fluency in business English and a good command of another major language
