About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Aviation Industry Personnel SERVICES GmbH. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing our global procurement processes, from forecasting and planning to supplier development and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end global procurement processes, including forecasting, planning, purchasing, supplier development, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional project teams to align on technical solutions, supplier selection, and prioritization.
  • Source new suppliers and build a fast and agile supplier network through negotiations and frame contracts.
  • Qualify suppliers in collaboration with supplier quality management and assess them regularly according to Lilium requirements.
  • Develop and implement pragmatic supply and replenishment strategies with Production Planning & Control and Logistics to ensure material availability.
  • Support the setup of the future serial supply chain by transferring knowledge from R&D Procurement to Serial Procurement.
  • Drive end-to-end purchase management from sourcing to goods receipt, including supplier selection, RFQ, and benchmarking.
  • Ensure on-time and on-quality delivery, drive performance reviews with suppliers, and create and maintain ERP master data for suppliers and material.
  • Establish a strong relationship between suppliers and Lilium, lead problem-solving, and connect stakeholders.
  • Participate in supplier negotiations, represent supply chain requirements, and ensure a standardized framework.
  • Plan, drive, and lead improvement projects focused on agility, automation, and digitalization, and deliver on time, budget, and quality.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering and/or Business Administration Degree.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or technical project management roles, ideally in a technology-driven industry.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications.
  • Excellent communications and leadership skills, with the ability to build trust and consensus.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking.
  • Fluent in English.
