About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT System Administrator to join our team at Checkmk GmbH. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hybrid IT infrastructure, including client, server, and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the reliability and performance of our IT infrastructure
  • Administer and develop our client, server, and cloud infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external service providers to resolve IT issues
  • Manage user access and rights
  • Participate in IT projects, such as updates and new launches
Requirements
  • Experience in IT administration, preferably in a Linux environment
  • Strong knowledge of Linux distributions (Debian/Ubuntu/CentOS)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in English and German
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Nice-to-Have
  • Experience with Windows and Google
  • Proxmox VE experience
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace, AWS, Azure, and other cloud platforms
