About this role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Working Student/ Werkstudent to support our SiC development team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with our SiC product portfolio and R&D organization, gaining valuable experience and skills in electrical characterization and development.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform electrical characterization of semiconductor wafers and final products, including measurements of surge, ESD, and switching times in our laboratory.
  • Set up and execute automatic test sequences to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Evaluate trials, analyze data, and present results to the team.
  • Conduct competitor product investigations to stay up-to-date with industry trends.

Requirements

  • Enrolled student in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Preferred skills: semiconductor technology, electrical measurement techniques, data analysis, MS Office, SPICE.
  • Personal requirements: analytical thinking, team ability, working with colleagues, resilience.
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written, knowledge of German is beneficial.

Conditions

  • Temporary contract with extension option.
  • Weekly working hours: max. 18 hours/week.
  • Hourly rate: 18.40€.
  • Location: Hamburg.
