About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer/Architect to join our team at CompuGroup Medical. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions that meet the needs of medical professionals.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust and secure back-end systems as well as engaging front-end interfaces
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product delivery using Agile and DevOps best practices
  • Architect and implement scalable software solutions that meet the needs of medical professionals
  • Work collaboratively with product managers, architects, and other engineers to refine and advance our technology stack
  • Continuously improve code quality, system design, and processes
  • Lead technically and mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team
  • Engage in the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and operation

Your Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of professional work experience in software development
  • Proficient in modern Java, with a solid understanding of its features and ecosystem
  • A strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID principles
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the following technologies: Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring Web, Spring Data) & Docker

Optional Requirements:

  • Experience with Angular, knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS is a plus
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus
  • Understanding of hypervisor technologies, Bash scripting, Groovy, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, Selenium, Serenity BDD, Cucumber, JUnit 5, Jackson, is a plus
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and experience with infrastructure components such as Kubernetes, nginx, keycloak, OAuth2-proxy, PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, Prometheus, Promtail, Loki, Grafana, NATS, JVM,, Harbor, and Gitea is a plus
