Der Bachelor-Studiengang Game Design und Interaktive Medien an der Media University of Applied Sciences bietet eine umfassende Ausbildung in den Bereichen Game Development, Medieninformatik und Interaktive Medien.

Der Studiengang vermittelt die notwendigen Kenntnisse und Fähigkeiten, um in der Gamesbranche erfolgreich zu sein. Die Studierenden lernen, komplexe Spielekonzepte zu entwickeln und umzusetzen, sowie die notwendigen Technologien und Werkzeuge zu beherrschen.

Dualer Studienverlauf

Der Studiengang kann auch in einem dualen Verlauf absolviert werden, bei dem die Studierenden parallel zum Studium in einem Unternehmen arbeiten, das das Studium finanziert. Dieser dual-praxisintegrierende Studienverlauf führt zum Bachelor-Abschluss ohne zusätzliche IHK-Prüfung und dauert daher nur ein Semester länger als das klassische Studium.

Praktikum

Alle Studierenden absolvieren ein sechsmonatiges Pflichtpraktikum, das ihnen die Möglichkeit bietet, ihre Fähigkeiten in der Praxis zu erproben und Kontakte in der Branche zu knüpfen.

Zielgruppe

Der Studiengang richtet sich an Gaming- und Medien-affine Kreative, die sich in ihrer Freizeit mit Games und spielerischem Wissenserwerb beschäftigen und dieses Hobby zum Beruf machen möchten.

Berufsperspektiven

Die Absolventen des Bachelor-Studiengangs Game Design und Interaktive Medien haben gute Chancen auf den Berufseinstieg in der Gamesbranche. Mögliche Berufsperspektiven sind unter anderem Game Designer, Writer/Storyteller, Mediendesigner, Level/Content Designer, VR Game Artist, 3D Artist, Concept Designer und Animator.
