Unlock Your Potential as a Business Development Manager

STX Next, a leading software development company, is seeking an ambitious and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to strengthen our presence in the DACH region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for executing and developing our sales strategy, contributing to revenue and lead generation targets, and expanding our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build a pipeline of enterprise clients through leveraging available resources and personal network
  • Lead generation and scheduling introduction meetings with prospects
  • Qualify leads through an extensive STX Next discovery process
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements
  • Manage pre-sales relationships with prospects, increasing engagement and identifying opportunities to sell services
  • Plan and define activities to reach individual and team KPIs, coordinating implementation with teams
  • Lead business trips to visit prospective clients and attend conferences
  • Work with the Pre-Sales team, DMs, and Sales to shorten the time to take prospects to the buying window
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of STX Next's products/services and buyer persona's specific needs
  • Keep up to date on new technology trends and make recommendations to STX Next on potential new service offerings

Requirements:

  • At least 3+ years of proven and successful data-driven lead generation and sales results in IT services and/or products
  • Proven track record of successfully acquiring clients from SMB/Corporate sectors
  • Proactive approach to responsibilities
  • Goal-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset
  • Prospecting and networking skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Flexibility and willingness to take ownership of diversified projects within the Sales Department
  • Building and managing your own pipeline
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through/follow-up, not only in relation to prospects but also to achieving defined KPIs
  • Experience in working with prospects and clients from the DACH Region
  • A strong network that can be leveraged
  • Familiarity with account-based marketing
  • Fluent in German and English
