Senior Legal Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Advisor to join our team at MAM Gruppe, a prominent player in the construction and real estate services industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work on engaging and challenging projects, providing comprehensive legal advice and support to our operational business units.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert legal guidance on German construction and procurement law, ensuring compliance and minimizing risks.
- Manage legal risks throughout the bid preparation, contract conclusion, and execution processes.
- Contribute to internal reporting, offering valuable insights to division managers and corporate headquarters.
- Oversee the examination, assertion, enforcement, or defense of claims, coordinating with external legal counsel as needed.
- Develop and deliver internal training sessions, focusing on construction contract law (VOB/BGB contracts) and procurement law.
We are looking for a highly qualified candidate with:
A completed 2nd state examination in law (with honors preferred) and substantial knowledge of construction and procurement law gained through practical experience.A minimum of 5 years' professional experience as a lawyer or in-house counsel, with experience within a company being advantageous, ideally including 2 years in construction law.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with the capacity to assess complex economic issues from a legal standpoint.Practical experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and legal proceedings.A high level of commitment, decisiveness, assertiveness, and a service-oriented approach.Fluency in both German and English.What We Offer- Engaging and challenging projects.
