Cybersecurity Engineer for Space Projects

GMV is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to support our team on the Galileo satellite projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the field of cybersecurity and be able to analyze system logs to establish a baseline for the usage of different network protocols.
Main tasks will include:
- Defining and updating ground and space operational procedures as required.
- Developing and documenting procedures for log extraction and analysis.
- Providing cybersecurity expertise from an operations perspective to support modifications to existing ground segment elements.
- Conducting routine checks on network security status and configuration based on ISO 27001 standards.
- Establishing and maintaining a configuration baseline for the system.
- Performing offline trend analysis with Splunk on extracted logs.
- Assessing and analyzing the system hardening status.
- Supporting the integration, testing, and handover process from equipment developers to operations, validating the closure of identified vulnerabilities.
- Evaluating the impact of new configurations on operational products and processes.
We are looking for graduates in Cybersecurity Engineering with interest in the space sector. The ideal candidate will have knowledge in penetration testing, network forensics, and analysis, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills.
