Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Metrology Technician to join our team at HOLON. As a Metrology Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine calibration of precision measurement tools, equipment, and fixtures used in the manufacturing and development processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed dimensional inspections of components and assemblies using optical scanners, and other advanced metrology equipment
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD data to ensure all measurements and tolerances meet design specifications
- Analyze measurement data and produce reports to ensure components conform to required standards and specifications, using statistical methods where applicable
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to measurement accuracy and quality control
- Maintain detailed records of calibration results, measurement data, and equipment performance
- Ensure all metrology equipment is compliant with internal quality control procedures
- Provide training and technical support to manufacturing and engineering teams on the correct use of measurement equipment and metrology practices
Requirements
- Completed technical education
- Experience in a quality or metrology role, preferably in the automotive industry
- Proficiency with metrology tools such as optical scanners, CMMS, calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measurement devices
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and the ability to interpret technical drawings
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good English and German language skills in spoken and written form
