Game Designer Position at CrazyLabs

CrazyLabs, a world-leading mobile game developer with a vast portfolio of over 6.7 billion downloads, is seeking a skilled and creative Game Designer to join our team and contribute to the development of our next-generation Hyper and Hybrid Simulation games.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Ideation and Game Product Owners team to conceptualize new game ideas and enhance existing games in the pipeline.
  • Review and analyze game design features, suggesting solutions based on specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and business challenges.
  • Develop design briefs, flowcharts, and feature layouts to ensure seamless game development.
  • Participate in playtesting sessions, gathering and analyzing feedback to refine game performance, features, and mechanics.
  • Work closely with game product owners to define requirements and roadmap.
  • Collaborate with external and internal teams to mentor and guide the development of high-profile games.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging game design techniques and technologies.
  • Contribute to the creation of new and engaging game themes and mechanics.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in game design in a mobile gaming company.
  • Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Interactive Media, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of game design principles, including mechanics, storytelling, and level design.
  • UI/UX experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Unity and Adobe Photoshop experience is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, with strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Passion for gaming, particularly in the Hyper and Hybrid Simulation genre, and a deep understanding of what makes games fun and engaging.
