Cloud Native Development Operations Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Native Development Operations Specialist to join our SAP BTP Multi Channel delivery & DC Buildout team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving and executing the SAP Business Technology Platform strategy for deploying cloud products into sovereign and private environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn, implement, and continuously improve complex software deployments of SAP BTP platform and SAP BTP services with a focus on deployment automation and harmonization of the deployment process.
  • Take over the responsibility for regular installation and updates of SAP BTP platform and SAP BTP services in test environments of our sovereign and private cloud stakeholders.
  • Educate and support our sovereign and private cloud stakeholders and third-party operators in deploying and running SAP BTP services in sovereign and private cloud environments.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of professional experience in cloud-native development or development operations with cloud technologies like Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, containers, and various hyperscaler APIs.
  • Hands-on experience in different lifecycle management tools and technologies like Terraform, Concourse, ArgoCD, OCM, Flux, Jenkins, etc.
  • Hands-on experience in deployments on major hyperscalers as AWS, Azure, GCP.
  • Sound development skills in a scripting or programming language such as Python, Golang, Java, etc.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a proven track record of designing and solving challenging technical problems.
  • Fluency both written and spoken in English and German.
