Reinsurance Portfolio Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Reinsurance Portfolio Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain in-depth expertise in processing reinsurance portfolios from policy to financial processing of premiums and claims. You will work closely with our underwriter and claims team to ensure efficient and accurate booking of reinsurance settlements, monitoring of incoming payment transactions, and execution of the first step of the dunning process.
About the Responsibilities:
• Process reinsurance settlements and monitor incoming payment transactions to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Collaborate with the underwriter and claims team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
• Enter and maintain contract data in our policy administration system to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Work closely with colleagues in other locations to ensure successful collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as accounting, finance, or insurance.
• Fluency in English and German, with strong analytical thinking skills and a good understanding of data and figures.
• Strong initiative and willingness to work independently, with strong teamwork and communication skills.
