Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled professional to coordinate simple activities to complex plans. This role provides end-users within the company's desktop computing environment with timely and accurate support on-site/standby to ensure optimal service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot computer operating systems/peripherals
  • Manage various PC operating systems (Windows 7/8 and 10)
  • Perform hardware-software installation (understanding of deployment tools like SCCM)
  • Basic knowledge of SOE and group policies
  • Printer support
  • Good knowledge of MS Office tool installation and troubleshooting
  • Excellent customer service and people skills
  • Practical experience in supporting a variety of technologies and services
  • Advanced technical skills, including solid troubleshooting skills applicable to Windows, Apple, and virtual operating systems
  • Ability to manage time and resources to meet or exceed expectations in high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism

  • German native speaker
  • Excellent computer skills for end-users
  • Good knowledge of infrastructure support
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Well-organized and extremely detail-oriented

  • Windows operating system (e.g. XP, Vista, Windows 7, 10)
  • Microsoft Office applications
  • PC/Laptop hardware
  • PC/Laptop peripherals, including printers
  • Mobile devices

Desirable Knowledge

  • Active Directory
  • Exchange
  • Apple operating system
  • SCCM

IT Certifications

  • At least one of the following:
  • PC/Laptop OEM maintenance certification
  • CompTIA A+ certification
  • Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification in the desktop area
  • Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification

Experience

  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Students and IT students are also welcome, but with an IT background
  • Willing to travel 12-18 miles as per requirements
