About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join our team at Clearstream Banking AG. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for planning and executing risk-oriented audits to ensure the effectiveness of our business processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute general audits, as well as participate in coordinated audits with Deutsche Börse Group
  • Drive all phases of audits, from planning and risk assessment to fieldwork and communicating results to management
  • Identify deficiencies and improvement opportunities, and develop pragmatic approaches to solve problems
  • Validate regulatory finding remediation measures
  • Provide audit support and consultancy in the context of projects and internal controls
Requirements
  • University degree in economics, finance, or banking, internal/external audit, or legal qualifications
  • Several years of professional experience in audit, preferably in the banking sector
  • Experience using data analytics, automation, and/or AI in an audit context
  • High analytical skills, methodical know-how, and conceptual understanding of complex matters
  • High level of proficiency in English; German is a plus
