About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our team at KUGU Home GmbH. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality data streaming and analytical software architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable and efficient software solutions for data streaming and analytics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development life-cycle tasks
  • Take ownership of code quality and ensure alignment with best practices
  • Review and understand code produced by other team members
  • Contribute to the development of innovative products and solutions for the housing industry
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in backend software development in Scale-Ups
  • Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Familiarity with data governance and cloud infrastructure
  • Proficiency in Python, Java/Kotlin, AWS, Kafka, and Rest API design principles
