Job Title: Principal AE Engineer SI/PI

At Cadence, we're committed to developing innovative solutions that drive technological advancements. As a Principal AE Engineer SI/PI, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our signal integrity and power integrity analysis capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive technical campaigns and software evaluations with customers to deliver cutting-edge SI/PI analysis solutions.
  • Train and ramp-up new customers in running Sigrity SI/PI thermal analysis, ensuring seamless adoption and expertise.
  • Collaborate with international teams (US, India, France, Germany, etc.) to analyze advanced IC Package and PCBs with latest technologies, including DDR5/LPDDR5/PCIE5.
  • Develop in-depth expertise in EDA tools and SI/PI analysis challenges, 2.5D/3D EM model extraction, and thermal analysis.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills (fluent in English) to work with multinational engineering teams.
  • MSc/MEng in micro-electronics engineering or relevant field.
  • Several years' experience in micro-electronics/EDA industry, with a strong background in signal and power integrity.
  • Expert knowledge of thermal analysis is beneficial.
  • Ability to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for technology and business requirements.
  • Willingness to travel across the region and spend time on site with customers.
