Lead Security Engineer

As a key member of our IT security team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our digital workplace environment. Your expertise in security technologies and proactive approach to emerging trends will drive the development and implementation of robust security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the IT security team, providing strategic guidance and hands-on expertise.
  • Advise and consult clients on cutting-edge security solutions, focusing on digital workplace security.
  • Oversee the design, development, and management of security projects, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
  • Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and workshops for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Continuously evaluate and implement security improvements, ensuring the use of the latest tools and technologies in areas such as endpoint protection, identity management, cloud applications, and automation.
  • Collaborate with various departments to develop customized security frameworks and ensure secure environments.

Key Technologies:

  • Microsoft 365 Security Suite (e.g., Defender for Endpoint, Identity, Cloud Apps, Intune)
  • Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and other modern security solutions

Requirements:

  • Proven background in IT security, particularly within digital workplace environments.
  • Hands-on experience in leading and managing security teams.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 security and similar platforms.
  • Several years of experience in designing and implementing security projects from start to finish.
  • Demonstrated ability to consult and advise on security strategies, helping drive secure digital transformation.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and German.
  • Degree in computer science or relevant vocational training.
