Senior Test Engineer for Automotive Verification

The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our team at Snaphunt, a technology enabler for leading companies. As a Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend daily briefings before test runs to ensure seamless execution.
  • Upload updated software to the test bench or test car, ensuring timely and accurate testing.
  • Perform daily, evening, and weekend test runs as required, providing detailed reports and analysis.
  • Execute test plans and test suites, identifying and reporting defects for prompt resolution.
  • Record traces and provide time markers for defect analysis, ensuring accurate and efficient troubleshooting.
  • Produce comprehensive Test Reports and Test Summary Reports after each test run, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to test dev-drops, ensuring seamless integration and quality assurance.
  • Provide immediate feedback and rectifications to the Tickets Coordinator, FO, and Program Lead, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Work closely with car manufacturers and IVI system development teams to ensure seamless integration and testing.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid driver's license of category B.
  • Have at least 3+ years of experience as a Test Engineer, with a strong background in automotive testing.
  • possess at least 2 years of experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on field testing.
  • Have proven proficiency in creating test reports and defects, with a strong understanding of SDLC and testing theory.
  • Be proficient in Test case creation, with a solid understanding of testing principles and methodologies.
  • Have excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Be flexible in working schedule, with the ability to work shifted hours as required.

Nice to Have

  • Hold a prototype driver's license.
  • Have High Voltage training.
