Job Description

The PMO Consultant in the S/4HANA Finance Transformation project plays a pivotal role in the operational steering of the project towards success by managing its complexities and ensuring alignment with the strategic goals of the transformation.

This role involves close collaboration with business and IT leadership to drive the S/4 transformation.

  • Project Management and Oversight: Ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to all stakeholders' satisfaction.
  • Strategic Alignment: Work with the steering committee and joint business/IT project leadership to develop a business transformation approach that aligns with the company's strategic vision.
  • Value and Impact Focus: Set up a content and value-oriented transformation office that drives significant organizational impact.
  • Stakeholder Management: Facilitate detailed reviews and decision meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration between the program team and external partners.
  • Risk and Compliance Management: Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Change Management: Lead change management initiatives, ensuring timely alignment with key decision-makers to secure organization-wide buy-in.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven track record (at least 3-5 years) in project management, preferably with experience in managing large-scale ERP or finance transformation projects.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of S/4HANA Finance and core business processes.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Leadership: Capable of leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
