Music Educator

Frankfurt International School is seeking an experienced and dedicated Music Teacher. The position includes timetabled Music Classes in the Upper School (Grades 6-10) and IB Diploma Music in Grades 11-12.
In line with the school's mission to inspire individuals to develop their intellect, creativity, and character, it is the responsibility of teachers at FIS to model our beliefs and to ensure a dynamic, inquiry-driven education of the highest standard.
The Music Teacher will be responsible for instruction and assessment based on the agreed curriculum and will secure a stimulating, challenging, structured, safe, and caring environment within clear rules and expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employ strategies that will secure a consistently high level of student motivation and achievement.
- Plan and document instruction that is compatible with the established syllabus and overall curriculum objectives.
- Collaborate with colleagues on questions of program, resources, and instruction.
- Use a variety of appropriate materials and resources for each lesson.
- Maintain up-to-date records and reports on all students.
- Effectively employ technology tools to enhance student learning and teaching objectives.
