We, the Berlin Fire Department and the Berlin Police Department, are working together on the planning, implementation and subsequent operation of our cooperative control center, the most modern and largest control center system in Germany. Your field of work includes: As part of the "Cooperative Control Centre" project group, you will be responsible for the technical concept development, planning, management and optimization of IT control centre components. You are responsible for the description of system functionalities, parameters and quality requirements that enable the establishment and further development of the new operational control system of the cooperative control center of the fire department and police. Your tasks will include: Independent monitoring, administration and further development of the operations control system (ELS) consisting of the voice communication system, the operations control computer and the control center infrastructure technology Deployment and maintenance of control and monitoring programs for the control center applications Collaboration in the description and further development of service levels to achieve high availability of the ELS Collaboration in the creation of the IT security concept and operating concept for the ELS as well as its consistent implementation and compliance with data protection and confidentiality requirements What sets us apart?
