About the Role

As our new Senior Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations at our Karlskrona and Cologne sites. You will be responsible for managing CAPEX, financial closing, forecasting, and budgeting, as well as providing strategic analysis and insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with project managers to develop business cases and manage CAPEX, including capitalization processes and asset depreciation.
  • Oversee project management within SAP, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless internal order creation and project settlement.
  • Engage with stakeholders to validate accrual journals and ensure financial accuracy.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to finalize project settlements and ensure time-writing and internal balances are aligned with project outcomes.
  • Deliver strategic analysis on gross margins, CAPEX, and OPEX, providing actionable insights that influence decision-making at all levels.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in finance or business controlling, preferably in an international environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Collaborative, business-minded approach with excellent analytical and communication skills in English.
  • Proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement and delivering results.
