Job Title: Linux System Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux System Administrator to join our team at Univention. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for ensuring the secure, stable, and reliable operation of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the secure, stable, and reliable operation of IT and the further development of the IT infrastructure
  • Drive forward the professionalization, outsourcing, and migration of our internal IT infrastructure
  • Build up our IT infrastructure in a crisis-proof manner
  • Look after various services such as mail servers, GitLab, and the connection of various data centers

Requirements:

  • Experience in Linux administration and with networks
  • Strong desire to grow – both professionally and personally
  • Ability to plan and execute projects in a structured and independent manner
  • Ability to define your own role in the IT team and in changing project teams
  • Experience in the open source world and enthusiasm for the Univention vision
