Software Architect SaaS/IoT Leader

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Software Architect to lead the design and evolution of our cloud-based SaaS/IoT offerings. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the architecture of our products, ensuring scalability, reliability, and seamless user experiences.

Key Accountabilities
  • Design and support the development of our SaaS/IoT products, collaborating closely with our team of Software Architects
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into robust, maintainable, scalable, and user-friendly solutions
  • Improve collaboration between development, quality assurance, devops, and software security teams, fostering transparency in our product area
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate cloud services, tools, and technologies to optimize the performance, reliability, and scalability of our offerings
  • Mentor and guide development teams, emphasizing best practices in Golang, JavaScript, React, gRPC, and IoT based communication protocols within the SaaS context
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent professional experience
  • Proven experience as a SaaS Software Architect with a focus on technologies like Golang, JavaScript, React, GRPC and IoT based communication protocols
  • Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP or Oracle Cloud
  • Good knowledge of SaaS product architectures, microservices, microfrontends and containerization
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable SaaS/IoT solutions
  • Familiarity with IoT frameworks and protocols, e.g. MQTT, is a plus
  • Excellent English communication and technical skills
