Your Prospective Role:In collaboration with a prestigious client in the aerospace sector, you will serve as a Cloud Network Engineer (m/f/d).

Your Responsibilities:
  • Manage, implement, and sustain network infrastructure within a hybrid, multi-cloud setting.
  • Execute projects to ensure our network infrastructure is robust, well-maintained, and adheres to industry best practices, facilitating the transition to cloud services.
  • Exhibit proficiency with Microsoft Azure (or AWS) and comparable cloud services, alongside experience in designing, configuring, provisioning, and deploying solutions at the network layer.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of networking technologies and vendors, including Palo Alto, Aruba, LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, Firewalls, SDWAN, Load Balancers, Routing & Switching.
  • Develop network services utilizing infrastructure as code to automate the deployment of cloud network components.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, IT concepts, market research, and vendor assessments.
  • Collaborate with Cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with infrastructure or application security standards.
  • Maintain the availability of both company and cloud networks through proactive monitoring and alerting.
  • Hold operational responsibility for our connectivity network infrastructure.
  • Create comprehensive operational documentation for the network infrastructure.
Your Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in technology or computer science, or equivalent apprenticeship with relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in network infrastructure design, implementation, and administration.
  • Familiarity with network operating systems such as Aruba OS-CX and/or Cisco IOS.
  • Extensive experience with Palo Alto Suite and Aviatrix.
  • Knowledge of internet routing protocols and concepts: TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, IS-IS, OSPF, IPSec, VPNs, DNS, SSL, and other network services.
  • Experience with OT architectures and Software-Defined WAN (SDWAN) deployment.
  • Proficiency in using Jira & Confluence is advantageous.
  • Proven experience with public cloud providers (e.g., Azure and AWS) is highly valued.
  • Strong automation skills with hands-on scripting/programming experience are highly regarded.
  • In-depth understanding of TCP/IP, Subnetting, DHCP, and NAT is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with the ITIL framework and ITSM is highly appreciated.
  • Customer-oriented and service-focused.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new IT technologies.
  • Strong motivation to contribute to the development of organizational structures and processes.
  • Proficient in English; additional languages are a plus.
