Position: Principal Business Consultant

Project Overview: Key Initiatives in Technology Transformation

Role Context:

The Principal Business Consultant position is integral to the comprehensive transition of systems to S/4 Hana, emphasizing the innovative technological landscape in the ongoing projects. This role will engage with SAP methodologies and support the organization's shift to S/4 Hana, particularly in the domain of facility management.

Required Services:

Business Analysis:

  • Examine and pinpoint business workflows to reveal inefficiencies and prospects for enhancement.
  • Formulate and articulate solutions that align with business needs while ensuring operational effectiveness.
  • Assess solutions to confirm they fulfill the business requirements of the organization.

Consultative Support:

  • Deliver expert advice on the technical evaluation of requirements within the SAP PM framework, focusing on facility management.
  • Collaborate with various business units to discern and fulfill business needs.
  • Develop training resources in partnership with the relevant business units.

Collaboration and Assistance:

  • Engage with development teams and other stakeholders to realize solutions that meet organizational expectations.

Project Specifications:

Location:

  • The primary location for service delivery is within Germany, with a focus on onshore operations. Any external service provisions must receive prior approval.
  • Regular in-person engagements are not anticipated, except for essential technical discussions.

Technical Expertise Required:

Experience:

  • SAP Modules:
  • A minimum of 7 years of hands-on consulting experience across at least two SAP modules.
  • At least 3 years of project management experience related to the maintenance of fixed installations in relevant industries.
  • Facility Management:
  • Understanding of business processes in Technical Facility Management, including Object Management and Infrastructural Facility Management.
  • Experience addressing strategic maintenance issues within facility management.
  • Industry Insight:
  • Documented experience in logistics projects within relevant sectors.

Skills:

  • Methodological Expertise:
  • Demonstrated experience in business process analysis and design.
  • Proficiency in developing concepts for integrating facility management services into SAP PM.
  • Presentation and Facilitation:
  • A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in presenting and conducting workshops.
