About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Safety Specialist to join our team at Immanuel Albertinen Diakonie. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees, patients, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on occupational safety, health, and environmental protection to our facilities and teams.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all employees, management, and external stakeholders on occupational safety matters.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive risk assessments and safety protocols in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Implement and enforce occupational safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on occupational safety and health topics to employees and management.

Requirements

  • Qualification as an Occupational Safety Specialist, meeting the requirements of § 7 of the ASiG.
  • Experience in creating workplace and risk assessments, as well as providing support to healthcare facilities.
  • Proficiency in standard PC software applications.
  • Strong initiative, innovation, and organizational skills, with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • A friendly and service-oriented approach, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
