Job OverviewOur Central Information Technology division, comprising around 1,000 professionals, provides comprehensive support across the Bundesbank's diverse operations. We are seeking multiple IT Application Managers to assist in managing applications across various sectors, including construction, human resources, corporate communications, and more. If you possess experience in these domains, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.
Your Role: Responsibilities- As a vital team member, you will facilitate the technical integration and management of diverse applications, whether on-premise or SaaS, along with application-specific hardware from various internal departments.
- You will offer guidance to internal departments, coordinate new requirements, assist in market research for suitable products, develop technical concepts, and oversee their implementation.
- Collaboration with internal IT teams and external partners will be essential.
- You will also be responsible for analyzing issues and error messages in last-level support, resolving them or delegating to appropriate support units.
- Your expertise will be valued as you engage in daily operations and exciting interdisciplinary projects from the outset.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in (business) informatics or a related field, or substantial professional experience combined with relevant IT training.
- Proven experience in application management, with a strong understanding of various technology areas including web, client-server, cloud, and SaaS.
- Solid knowledge of operating systems, databases, networks, firewalls, and IT security, along with experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual skills, coupled with a high degree of independence, commitment, and a customer-oriented approach.
- Willingness to travel for business purposes if based outside of Frankfurt or Munich.
- Fluency in German and proficient in written and spoken English.
Competitive remuneration in accordance with TVöD, based on experience, along with a bank bonus. The expected salary range is approximately €54,800 to €89,000, plus bonuses for exceptional performance.
