Main Objective:

Accountable for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial records, generating financial reports, and facilitating financial decision-making. This role encompasses a blend of routine accounting duties, financial analysis, and adherence to applicable regulations.

Core Responsibilities:

Financial Recording and Reporting

  • Document and uphold precise financial transactions in line with German accounting standards (HGB) and international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
  • Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Support the consolidation of financial data for group reporting purposes.
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, including expenses for multiple small entities.
  • Reconcile intercompany transactions, including recharges.

Internal Controls and Compliance

  • Establish and uphold internal controls to guarantee the accuracy of financial data.
  • Assist during internal and external audits.

Candidate Profile – Essential Qualifications:

Education / Qualifications:
  • A relevant degree or qualification in accounting, finance, or business administration.
  • Strong grasp of German accounting principles (HGB) and international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
  • Demonstrated experience in group reporting and intercompany transactions.
Professional Skills / Abilities:
  • Proficient in both German and English, in written and verbal communication.
  • Exceptional analytical and multitasking abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
  • Organized, with robust administrative/reporting skills and proficient in PC applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
