Key Responsibilities

  • Assess operational and maintenance needs during equipment specification and procurement processes.
  • Engage in the commissioning and handover of new machinery, emphasizing preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure equipment adheres to Availability and Performance metrics (OEE) while consulting on quality standards.
  • Oversee and execute repairs, software updates, and manage supplier and contractor relationships.
  • Maintain high data quality from machinery for effective SPC management.
  • Implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) within factory IT systems and verify SPC alerts and reporting.
  • Manage critical spare parts inventory and ensure timely execution of maintenance tasks.
  • Lead responses to unplanned equipment shutdowns and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent vocational training and further education.
  • 3-5 years of experience in equipment management within manufacturing, ideally in the automotive or aerospace industries.
  • Strong expertise in mechanical design with a focus on manufacturing systems.
  • Proficient in preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities for managing multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Capable of overseeing a diverse range of manufacturing equipment, including fixtures and machinery.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Fluent in English with business-level proficiency in German.
