About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Engineer to join our team at Segula Technologies GmbH. As an EMC Engineer for Automotive Components, you will be responsible for ensuring the compliance of our automotive components with relevant EMC standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • EMC Testing and Validation: Perform trial EMC tests of automotive components according to ISO 11452 and UN ECE R10, and review test plans for feasibility, completeness, and plausibility.
  • Lab Expansion and Accreditation: Evaluate ISO 11452 and UN ECE R10 requirements, test methods, and required laboratory equipment for the expansion of our laboratory.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Provide quality of current and future laboratory work processes according to ISO 17025 and EMC-related standards, including testing, calibrations, documentation, annual audits, and accreditations.
  • Root Cause Analysis and Documentation: Conduct root cause analysis for tests with NOK results and document test results.
  • Test Report Preparation: Prepare test reports with risk assessment and introduce new EMC and electrical test procedures.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with the team to implement laboratory-specific measures and tasks, and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience and Education: At least 3 years of practical experience in automotive EMC testing and in-depth knowledge of EMC standards, including UN ECE R10, ISO 11451/11452, CISPR 12/16/25, and IEC 61000 series. A successfully completed university studies in RF/EMC technology, electrical engineering, communications engineering, automotive engineering, physics, or a comparable qualification is required.
  • Project Management and Quality Control: Experience in project management and laboratory quality control according to ISO 17025 is desired.
  • Language Skills: Fluent English and German language skills are required.
