About the Role

In this position, you will utilize and further develop your presentation skills, collaborative presales experience, and financial expertise to articulate and differentiate the value of Workday solutions.

  • Our Presales teams are strategically collaborating with the sales organization: responsible for building a compelling vision of the Workday solution and differentiators as part of a value selling approach.
  • You will be equipped to provide in-depth financial product knowledge to the sales teams and our customers through sales presentations and product demonstrations, with a focus on general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, assets, cash management, expenses, procurement, planning, revenue management, projects, and project billing.
  • Assist in assessing potential applications of Workday solutions to meet customer needs and prepare detailed product presentations and demonstrations showcasing the value of our solution.
  • Provide consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation.
  • Assist with responding to prospect requests for proposals on an as needed basis.
  • Support marketing-related events facilitating one-to-many or one-to-few prospect sessions.
  • Creation of compelling digital assets and keeping these up to date.
  • Working with applications and technologies that will allow you to bring the Workday solutions to life.
  • Working with a broad range of solution consultants across the UKI team and beyond, so good networking skills will be essential.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30%.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • German language fluency.
  • Experience demonstrating initiative and committed results, preferably in the financial domain as a financial practitioner or sales/presales of financial suites.
  • Working experience and good understanding of topics including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, assets, cash management, expenses, procurement, planning, revenue management, projects, and project billing.
  • A real hunger to learn and develop yourself, as well as a proven track record of applying this quality to projects or work gigs.
  • A real self-starter who has a can-do and self-service attitude and approach.
  • Someone who is innovative and can think outside the box to come up with creative solutions.

Other Qualifications

  • Pre-sales/consulting experience with financial enterprise business solutions a plus.
  • Previous work experience that allowed you to demonstrate the skill of storytelling.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with a solid business acumen.
