About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Integration Engineer to join our team at KION Information Management Services GmbH in Aschaffenburg. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining integration solutions using SAP Cloud Integration and SAP Process Orchestration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business partners to understand integration requirements and translate them into effective solution designs, leveraging standard APIs.
  • Make informed decisions regarding the integration platform, based on the principles of ISA-M and the integration evaluation capabilities of the SAP Integration Suite.
  • Develop interfaces using SAP Cloud Integration, SAP Process Orchestration, and SAP API Management for integrating cloud solutions (SAP Commerce, Salesforce, Workday, etc.) and external partners (B2B) with KION core systems like SAP S/4HANA.
  • Ensure the technical documentation of integrations, define development guidelines, and security requirements are in place.
  • Guarantee the operation of integrations, including monitoring, alarm management, and continuous testing activities such as regression tests and performance tests.
  • Organize Go-Lives, releases, and knowledge transfers.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree in (Business) Informatics, Mathematics, Business Engineering, Business Science, or a comparable field.
  • 5+ years of experience and expertise in building integrations with SAP Cloud Integration and SAP Process Orchestration (preferably certified).
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP API Management, and SAP Trading Partner Management or other EDI solutions.
  • Experience in troubleshooting SAP CI/PO issues and improving system performance.
  • Knowledge of security standards SSL, PGP, encryption, SAML, OAuth, etc.
  • Experience working with global teams.
  • Experience with large-scale ERP implementations.
  • Proficiency in using project management tools (like JIRA), creating and presenting suitable status reports.
  • Strong communication skills (English at least at C1/C2 level).
  • Good problem-solving skills; independent working style; detail-oriented; excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines; willingness to learn.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 10%.
