Machine Shop Operator at Hyundai Motorsport GmbH

Position Overview

Hyundai Motorsport GmbH is at the forefront of global motorsport activities, primarily focusing on the World Rally Championship. We are seeking a skilled Machine Shop Operator to contribute to our innovative team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machinery in accordance with technical specifications, including tool adjustments and fixture setups.
  • Utilize manual machining tools such as lathes, mills, surface grinders, saws, and drills for various manufacturing tasks.
  • Prepare and operate additive manufacturing equipment, ensuring adherence to production protocols.
  • Conduct pre- and post-machining operations, including deburring, cleaning, and routine maintenance.
  • Utilize laser engraving technology for part identification and marking.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while operating machinery, promptly reporting any hazards to supervisory personnel.
  • Meet production deadlines for automotive components, ensuring high-quality output for race car assembly.
  • Perform machine maintenance to uphold precision and quality standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members across manufacturing and engineering departments to produce functional and high-quality components.
Qualifications
  • Completion of vocational training as a machinist or equivalent qualifications.
  • Proven experience in operating both manual and CNC machinery.
  • Proficiency in machining materials such as aluminum, steel, plastics, and stainless steel.
  • Basic programming knowledge, with familiarity in Fanuc systems considered advantageous.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings; knowledge of Windchill is a plus.
  • A collaborative team player with strong technical skills, demonstrating reliability and independence.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in machining processes.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Flexibility in working hours and capability to perform under pressure.
  • Willingness to expand knowledge of emerging manufacturing technologies.
