International Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team at Kühne + Nagel (AG & Co.) KG as an International Project Manager - Global Logistics. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing international trade fairs and exhibitions, ensuring seamless logistics operations and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Acquisition: Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, identifying opportunities to grow our business and increase revenue.
- Logistics Planning: Plan and execute delegation trips to support German exhibitors abroad, ensuring timely and efficient logistics operations.
- Customs Clearance: Coordinate customs clearance for exhibition shipments, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
- Freight Management: Quote, order, and manage transportation of exhibition shipments by air, sea, and land freight to all exhibition venues abroad.
- Project Monitoring: Monitor transit times and ensure timely delivery of exhibition shipments.
- Customer Service: Handle customer complaints and damages, providing exceptional service and support to our customers.
- Financial Management: Manage freight services and project-related monthly closing in our system, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Qualifications: Completed apprenticeship as a forwarding and logistics specialist or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Experience in exhibition logistics is highly advantageous.
- Travel: Willingness to travel to global exhibition venues is required.
- Language Skills: Fluent in German and good English language skills in writing and speaking; knowledge of other foreign languages is advantageous.
