Indirect Tax Services Manager

Work alongside your team in the Indirect Tax Services sector, providing guidance to our clients on all matters related to national and international sales tax law, as well as customs, foreign trade, export control, and excise tax law, particularly in light of current ESG challenges.
Your Responsibilities
If you are eager to strategically support the Indirect Tax Services – ESG area with your expertise, here’s how you can contribute:
- Advise and assist national and international clients on all aspects of Environmental Taxes (Energy and Electricity Tax, Plastic Tax, Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism).
- Provide comprehensive consulting for the implementation of ESG Compliance Management Systems.
- Prepare relief applications and tax declarations.
- Additionally, support our clients in establishing ESG Reporting.
- To become a (Senior) Manager Indirect Tax - ESG (w/m/d) with us, you should possess a successfully completed degree as a Diplom-Finanzwirt from the Federal Customs Administration or in Economics or Law with a focus on European Economic Law, International Law and Business, or Tax Law.
- You should have substantial professional experience in relevant areas of indirect taxation, such as customs administration or in industrial and/or consulting firms.
- Basic knowledge of excise tax law, particularly in energy and electricity tax, is also required.
- A proficient command of standard MS Office applications is expected.
- Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken, are essential.
- Your strong team orientation and willingness to travel will complete your qualifications.
