Cloud Security Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our global Cloud Security team at DocuWare. As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in securing our Cloud offering and ensuring the security of our cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with engineering teams to secure the development and deployment of cloud solutions.
- Contribute to the architecture guild to ensure the integration of robust security practices from the project's inception.
- Implement, test, and maintain security controls to ensure the security of the cloud infrastructure.
- Conduct security analyses on prototypes for vulnerabilities and propose mitigation strategies.
- Develop and automate cloud security processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Computer, or Electrical Engineering (or a related field) and several years of experience in security.
- Knowledge of cloud core services, including network topologies, WAF, storage, databases, containers, messaging, logging, and monitoring.
- Excellent hands-on experience in assessing and securing environments, particularly in Azure.
- Familiarity with C# for performing code security reviews and programming languages for automation purposes, such as Powershell, Python, or Go.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks independently and demonstrate very good problem-solving skills.
- Strong desire to perform and grow as a security engineer and educate other engineers.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex security issues in an understandable way.
- Fluency in English (German communication skills are a plus).
