Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at REWE. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for the technical management of our REWE markets in a defined geographic area (Aschaffenbug) and will oversee the planning and coordination of new construction, renovation, expansion, and closure projects, as well as the responsible execution of construction work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the implementation of national building sales concepts and store layouts, as well as measures for technical energy management, energy efficiency, and operational safety.
  • Oversee the execution of construction projects, including the management of budgets, timelines, and quality.
  • Develop and implement construction plans, including the selection of contractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations and laws, as well as the implementation of safety protocols.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of construction teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, including budget, timeline, and quality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Building Engineering or Architecture or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in the retail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
