Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Wine Sales Specialist to join our team at REWE. As a Wine Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales expertise to our customers, while also being responsible for the presentation and restocking of our wine selection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on wine selection and pairing
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our wine portfolio, including wine styles, regions, and vintages
- Ensure that the wine department is well-stocked and visually appealing at all times
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive wine sales and increase customer engagement
- Collaborate with other sales teams to promote cross-selling and upselling opportunities
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the wine industry, preferably in a sales or customer service role
- Strong knowledge of wine, including wine styles, regions, and vintages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
- High school diploma or equivalent required; wine certification or degree preferred
