IS Department Area Manager Intern

Job Overview
As a key member of the Information Systems (IS) division, reporting directly to the Area Manager for the EU region, the Area Manager Intern will undertake various responsibilities aligned with the Area Manager position.
The intern will play a crucial role in coordinating multiple internal IT initiatives in collaboration with business stakeholders. It is essential to gather business IT requirements and liaise with the central IT team. The intern will engage in projects and may lead specific internal initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
Your core responsibilities will include:
• Providing guidance and support to the business in utilizing IT solutions effectively.
• Monitoring internal IT Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and assisting in meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Participating in onsite support operations.
• Engaging in integration and production deliveries.
• Creating and executing unit and integration tests.
• Managing both evolutionary and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Assisting in the creation of business requirement documents, interviewing project managers to identify IT needs, and, if necessary, coordinating with the customer’s IT department to gather requirements and explore potential solutions.
• Involvement in training sessions.
• Adhering to the IT department's project management best practices and contributing to its ongoing development and enhancement.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, ideally in computer engineering or a related field with a focus on information systems.
- Strong proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Office 365.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities; a proactive team player with a structured approach.
- Proficient in collaborative tools and possess the pedagogical skills necessary to enhance team capabilities.
